Hi! for this task I used very minimal techniques such as;
Putting the same recording on four tracks with slight time variations, panning, cutting, and amplitude manipulation.
I kept it simple because the task asks to use minimal techniques, which were first discovered.
The sample was made by using a credit card and scratching it on the radiator’s curves. First slowly to get a slowly bouncing sound, then gradually scratching faster to get nice bouncy sounds. I have used this recording technique , because the rhythm’s are inconstant , therefore creating interest to the piece.
The phasing technique was made by layering the same sample on different tracks with little time variations. That was done to create more interest to the piece.
The samples were panned on each track separately to have more control and add more value of interest.
Panning works fine with the phasing because while we hear the sample on one side of our speakers and the same sample coming in a little later on the other side of our speakers it constantly creates an illusion of multiple dimensions.

High, ALL!
Just scored – “waves” .
I used the basic Sine, Saw, Square, Triangle and White Noise Waves.
The waves were put through a sampler in which the waves were manipulated through ring modulators and frequency shifters. After the waves went through these “effects” they were layered in a sequencer in which the loudness and panning was manipulated. Also the square waves based on low frequencies were manipulated with a High and Low frequency filter.
The piece was limited to these five types of manipulation techniques since the task asks to make a composition with the earliest techniques discovered.
